Se\u00a0<\/span>abre la convocatoria para participar del 8\u00b0 edici\u00f3n del Festival Internacional CineMigrante, Cine y Formaci\u00f3n en Derechos Humanos de las personas migrantes<\/b>\u00a0a realizarse entre el <\/span>12 y 20 de septiembre<\/b>\u00a0de 2017, en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina, con entrada libre y gratuita.<\/span><\/p>\n

CineMigrante\u00a0opens its call<\/b>\u00a0for audiovisual works for the\u00a08th International Festival of Cinema and Formation of Human Rights,\u00a0<\/b>which will take place\u00a0<\/b>between\u00a0September 12<\/b>th<\/b>\u00a0– 20<\/b>th<\/b>\u00a02017 in the City of Buenos Aires<\/b>\u00a0and in many other parts of Argentina, with free admission.<\/em><\/p>\n

CineMigrante<\/strong> invita a participar a todos aquellos\u00a0<\/span>largometrajes, mediometrajes y cortometrajes<\/b>\u00a0que aborden la tem\u00e1tica migratoria, entendiendo a la migraci\u00f3n desde la simple necesidad de movimiento del cuerpo; desde la acci\u00f3n de caminar un territorio en busca de un sustento; desde la necesidad de salir de un estado de guerra, de conflictividad; desde un movimiento que cruza una frontera f\u00edsica, interna o imaginaria, que sale del estado de indefensi\u00f3n hacia la acci\u00f3n; desde el habitar un nuevo espacio, ocuparlo y modificarlo.<\/span><\/p>\n

We invite filmmakers to participate with their\u00a0feature films, medium-length and short films<\/b>\u00a0that address migration issues. We understand\u00a0migration as a condition of the body<\/b>, it is\u00a0walking along a territory in search of a fruit<\/b>, a\u00a0sustenance<\/b>;\u00a0it is to leave behind a war or a conflict<\/b>; it is\u00a0crossing an inner border<\/b>,\u00a0a physical or an imagined one<\/b>; it is\u00a0leaving the state of defenselessness to take action<\/b>; it is inhabiting new spaces<\/b>,\u00a0occupying them and modifying them<\/b>. This is why the\u00a0approach<\/b>\u00a0of the festival is\u00a0absolutely transversal<\/b>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Se reciben obras en los\u00a0<\/span>g\u00e9neros documental, ficci\u00f3n, animaci\u00f3n y experimental<\/b>, producidas\u00a0<\/span>con posterioridad al a\u00f1o 2014<\/b>. El\u00a0<\/span>l\u00edmite para la recepci\u00f3n de obras<\/b>\u00a0para participar de la 8\u00aa Edici\u00f3n es el\u00a0<\/span>14 de julio de 2017<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eligible are documentaries,\u00a0fiction films, animated films and experimental projects<\/b>\u00a0produced in\u00a02014 or later<\/b>. Deadline<\/b>\u00a0for the 8th\u00a0edition is\u00a0July 14th, 2017<\/b>, that is we receive the material until that day.<\/em><\/p>\n

El <\/span>Jurado,<\/b> integrado por destacados especialistas en cine, medios, defensa de los derechos humanos e interculturalidad, distinguir\u00e1 al Mejor Largometraje y al Mejor Mediometraje\/Cortometraje con <\/span>premios para la postproducci\u00f3n o producci\u00f3n y premiaciones especiales por tem\u00e1tica a cargo Signis y organismos de derechos humanos.<\/b><\/p>\n

A jury<\/b> composed of important personalities from cinema, media, and defense of human rights, and interculturality, will award the prizes for the Best Feature, Best medium- length film and Best Short film<\/b>\u00a0with\u00a0awards for post-production<\/b>\u00a0or production<\/b>\u00a0and special prizes awarded from Signis and human rights organizations.<\/b><\/p>\n

CineMigrante es un espacio cinematogr\u00e1fico que ha\u00a0<\/span>convocado a m\u00e1s de 42.600 personas en sus ediciones anteriores\u00a0<\/b>y en los espacios de encuentro y formaci\u00f3n en derechos humanos de cada edici\u00f3n. El Festival Internacional CineMigrante, es una oportunidad para\u00a0<\/span>incorporar, a la agenda cinematogr\u00e1fica y cultural de Argentina<\/b>,\u00a0<\/span>producciones de alta calidad<\/b>,\u00a0<\/span>no posibles de ser exhibidas en los circuitos comerciales<\/b>. Hoy, CineMigrante se conforma como un espacio cultural y de difusi\u00f3n de derechos con gran repercusi\u00f3n no s\u00f3lo en la Argentina sino en Am\u00e9rica Latina, teniendo una serie de muestras en distintos pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n suramericana.<\/span><\/p>\n

CineMigrante is a cinematographic space which attracted more than\u00a042,600 people<\/b>\u00a0during its past\u00a0seven editions, with screenings, meetings and events in order to raise awareness of human rights<\/b>.\u00a0 The CineMigrante International Festival\u00a0provides a space for exhibiting films and other audiovisual works (for which it might be difficult or impossible to be shown at commercial venues)\u00a0to include them in the cinematographic and cultural agenda of Argentina<\/b>.\u00a0 Today, CineMigrante is a cultural space promoting human rights, with an impact not only on Argentina, but on whole Latin America, having showcases in various latin american countries.<\/em><\/p>\n

CineMigrante es un espacio que permite\u00a0<\/span>compartir, difundir, visibilizar y sensibilizar acerca de las vivencias, experiencias y problem\u00e1ticas de todas aquellas personas que habitamos este mundo y que, en un momento y por alg\u00fan motivo, hemos decidido salir del lugar donde nacimos y migrar o simplemente movernos<\/b>. Tenemos como objetivo generar instancias de\u00a0<\/span>reconocimiento en los otros y en las otras, un reconocimiento de la \u2018otredad\u2019 interna que permita afianzar nuestra identidad<\/b>, contribuir a nuestro conocimiento hist\u00f3rico e individual, reflejarnos en todos y todas para conformarnos nuevamente.<\/span><\/p>\n

CineMigrante is a\u00a0space for sharing, disseminating, highlighting and raising awareness of the lives, experiences and problems of all the people who inhabit this world and who for any reason, decided to leave their place of birth and migrate. We aim to generate instances of recognition in others and in the other, a recognition of \u00a0the \u2018otherness\u2019 that allows to strengthen our identity, contributes to our historical but also individual knowledge in order to rethink ourselves and our society<\/b>.<\/em><\/p>\n
