Se\u00a0abre la convocatoria para participar del 9\u00b0 edici\u00f3n del Festival Internacional CineMigrante, Cine y Formaci\u00f3n en Derechos Humanos de las personas migrantes<\/b>\u00a0a realizarse entre el\u00a018 y 26 de Septiembre de 2018<\/b><\/u>, en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina, con entrada libre y gratuita.<\/p>\n

CineMigrante invita a participar a todos aquellos\u00a0largometrajes, mediometrajes y cortometrajes<\/b>\u00a0que aborden la movilidad humana, entendi\u00e9ndola desde la simple necesidad de movimiento del cuerpo; desde la acci\u00f3n de caminar un territorio en busca de un sustento; desde la necesidad de salir de un estado de guerra, de conflictividad; desde un movimiento que cruza una frontera f\u00edsica, interna o imaginaria, que sale del estado de indefensi\u00f3n hacia la acci\u00f3n; desde el habitar un nuevo espacio, ocuparlo y modificarlo.<\/p>\n

Se reciben obras en los\u00a0g\u00e9neros documental, ficci\u00f3n, animaci\u00f3n y experimental<\/b>, producidas\u00a0con posterioridad <\/b>al a\u00f1o 2015<\/b><\/u>.<\/u> El\u00a0l\u00edmite para la recepci\u00f3n de obras<\/b>\u00a0para participar de la 9\u00aa Edici\u00f3n es el\u00a01\u00ba de julio de 2018<\/b><\/u>.<\/p>\n

El\u00a0Jurado,<\/b>\u00a0integrado por destacados especialistas en cine, producci\u00f3n audiovisual, producci\u00f3n cultural, medios y pensamiento cr\u00edtico, distinguir\u00e1 al Mejor Largometraje y al Mejor Mediometraje\/Cortometraje con\u00a0premios para la postproducci\u00f3n o producci\u00f3n y premiaciones especiales por tem\u00e1tica a cargo de las diferentes instituciones participantes.<\/b><\/u><\/p>\n

CineMigrante es un espacio cinematogr\u00e1fico que convoc\u00f3 a m\u00e1s de 48.100 personas<\/b><\/u> en sus ocho ediciones anteriores\u00a0<\/b>y en los espacios cinematogr\u00e1ficos as\u00ed como de formaci\u00f3n y promoci\u00f3n en derechos humanos de cada edici\u00f3n. El Festival Internacional CineMigrante, es una oportunidad para\u00a0incorporar, a la agenda cinematogr\u00e1fica y cultural de Argentina<\/b>,\u00a0producciones de alta calidad<\/b>,\u00a0no posibles de ser exhibidas en los circuitos comerciales<\/b>. Hoy, CineMigrante se conforma como un espacio cultural y de difusi\u00f3n cultural con gran repercusi\u00f3n no s\u00f3lo en la Argentina sino en Am\u00e9rica Latina y el mundo, replicando su experiencia muestra en Bogot\u00e1, Barcelona, Venecia, M\u00e9xico y Costa Rica.<\/p>\n

\u201cCineMigrante es un espacio que permite\u00a0<\/i>difundir, visibilizar y sensibilizar acerca de las vivencias, experiencias y problem\u00e1ticas de todas aquellas personas que habitamos este mundo y que, en un momento y por alg\u00fan motivo, hemos decidido salir del lugar donde nacimos y migrar o simplemente movernos<\/b><\/i>. Tenemos como objetivo generar instancias de\u00a0<\/i>reconocimiento en los otros y en las otras, un reconocimiento de la \u2018otredad\u2019 interna que permita afianzar nuestra identidad<\/b><\/i>, contribuir a nuestro conocimiento hist\u00f3rico e individual, reflejarnos en todos y todas para conformarnos nuevamente\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

OPEN CALL 2018<\/span><\/h2>\n

CineMigrante\u00a0<\/span>opens its call<\/b><\/span>\u00a0for audiovisual works for the\u00a0<\/span>9th International Festival of Cinema and Formation of Human Rights,\u00a0<\/b><\/span>which will take place<\/span>\u00a0<\/b><\/span>between<\/span>\u00a0<\/b><\/span>September 18<\/b><\/u><\/span>th<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/sup>\u00a0\u2013 26<\/b><\/u><\/span>th<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/sup>\u00a02018<\/b><\/u><\/span> in the City of Buenos Aires<\/b><\/span>\u00a0and in many other parts of Argentina, with free admission.<\/span><\/p>\n

We invite filmmakers to participate with their\u00a0<\/span>feature films, medium-length and short films<\/b><\/span>\u00a0that address migration issues. We understand\u00a0<\/span>migration as a condition of the body<\/b><\/span>, it is\u00a0<\/span>walking along a territory in search of a fruit<\/b><\/span>, a\u00a0<\/span>sustenance<\/b><\/span>;\u00a0<\/span>it is to leave behind a war or a conflict<\/b><\/span>; it is\u00a0<\/span>crossing an inner border<\/b><\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>a physical or an imagined one<\/b><\/span>; it is<\/span>\u00a0leaving the state of defenselessness to take action<\/b><\/span>; it is i<\/span>nhabiting new spaces<\/b><\/span>,<\/span>occupying them and modifying them<\/b><\/span>. This is why the\u00a0<\/span>approach<\/b><\/span>\u00a0of the festival is\u00a0<\/span>absolutely transversal<\/b><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eligible are documentaries,<\/span>\u00a0fiction films, animated films and experimental projects<\/b><\/span>\u00a0produced in\u00a0<\/span>2015 or later<\/b><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>Deadline<\/b><\/span>\u00a0for the 9<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup>\u00a0edition <\/span>is <\/span>the <\/b>1st of July, 2018<\/b><\/u><\/span>, that is we receive the material until that day.<\/span><\/p>\n

A\u00a0<\/span>jury<\/b><\/span>\u00a0composed of important personalities from cinema, media, and defense of human rights, and interculturality, will award the prizes for the\u00a0<\/span>Best Feature, Best medium- length film and Best Short film<\/b><\/span>\u00a0with\u00a0<\/span>awards for post-production<\/b><\/span>\u00a0or\u00a0<\/span>production<\/b><\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>special prizes awarded by the several participating organizations.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

CineMigrante is a cinematographic space which attracted <\/span>more than<\/u><\/span>\u00a048,100 people<\/b><\/u><\/span>\u00a0during its past\u00a0<\/span>eigth editions, with screenings, meetings and events in order to raise awareness of human rights<\/b><\/span>.\u00a0 The CineMigrante International Festival<\/span>\u00a0provides a space for exhibiting films and other audiovisual works (for which it might be difficult or impossible to be shown at commercial venues)\u00a0to include them in the cinematographic and cultural agenda of Argentina<\/b><\/span>.\u00a0 Today, CineMigrante is a cultural space promoting human rights, with an impact not only on Argentina, but on whole Latin America, having showcases in Spain, Italy, Colombia, Mexico and Costa Rica.<\/span><\/p>\n

CineMigrante is a\u00a0<\/i><\/span>space for disseminating, highlighting and raising awareness of the lives, experiences and problems of all the people who inhabit this world and who for any reason, decided to leave their place of birth and migrate. We aim to generate instances of recognition in others and in the other, a recognition of \u00a0the \u2018otherness\u2019 that allows to strengthen our identity, contributes to our historical but also individual knowledge in order to rethink ourselves and our society<\/b><\/i><\/span>.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n
